After the agreement of the midfielder of Bayer Leverkusen Sidney Sam to be part of the national team of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the actual Nigerian coach Stephan Keshi is asking the federation to speed up the formalities with Fifa.
“I don’t have to miss this player. The Nigerian Football Federation should do its utmost as we have the Word Cup heats ahead of the Afcon and Sidney could be useful to us. I saw him, he is a very good player and he is going to add some qualities to our team”, declared Stephen Keshi at the media of his country this week.
The player could join the group of the Super Eagles for Afcon 2013. But his name has to be confirmed, sent and registered by FIFA before January 9, 2013.
