Africa GLO-CAF Awards 2012 : Nkwocha lost her crown

The African Football Federation is going to bestow GLO-CAF Awards trophies next Thursday in the course of a ceremony scheduled in Ghana.
The last year’s laureate with the title of the best African female footballer, the Nigerian Perpetua Nkwocha will not defend her title.
The captain of the Super Falcon does not appear in the list for the category this year. However her teammate Chinwendu Ihezuo is among the nominees.
The two nominees are the captain of the Equatorial Guinea, Genoveva Anoman, favorite and the South African Portia Modise.
The Nigerian could catch up since she has been nominated for the same category to the 2012 Africa Top Awards.
But beware! The captain of Equatorial Guinea, winner of the previous edition is also part of the nominees.
