Obviously, the injury of Emmanuel Adebayor on Sunday is not alarming. The Togolese is expected to play against Stoke City in the Premier League.
On Thursday, during the weekly press conference, Andre Villas-Boas, the manager of the Spurs did not worry at all.
“He did not get trained with the team since the beginning of the week. Normally he gets to be back tomorrow. I don’t think there is a risk for him not to play this week-end”, confided the Portuguese.
“After messages, he is doing well but he got knocked at the ankle that he still endures pains. Tomorrow, he will get training and we will take a decision after. But I do not doubt about his presence against Stoke”, added Villas-Boas.
