Veteran striker, Fifru teffera will not travel to South Africa for the 2013 Orange Africa cup of nations. The player has not been included in Ethiopia’s 23-man squad named by the team coach, Bishaw Sewnet.

Ethiopia champions, Saint George count nine players in the list notably Degu Debebe, Biadgelegn Elias, Alula Girma, Abebaw Butako, Shimeles Bekele, Yared Zinabu,  Oumed Ukuri, Adane Girma and Zerihun Tadele.

Goalkeepers: Jemal Tassew, Sisay Bancha and Zerihun Tadele.
Defenders: Degu Debebe, Biadgelegn Elias, Alula Girma , Abebaw Butako, Aynalem Hailu, Siyoum Tesfaye and Berhanu Bogale.
Midfielders: Asrat Megersa, Addis Hintsa, Minyahil Teshome, Behailu Assefa, Yusuf Saleh, Shimeles Bekele, Yared Zinabu and Dawit Estifanos.
