Africa Cup of Nations bound Ethiopia will face off with East Africans Taifa Stars of Tanzania in a friendly encounter on Friday 11 January 2013 at the National Stadium in Addis Ababa ahead of the individual assignments ahead.

 Tanzania Football Federation’s information Officer Boniface Wambura confirmed in a press briefing that the match will be played as part of the Stars preparations for their upcoming World Cup qualifier against Morocco in March.

 However, Ethiopia’s Walya Antelopes on the other hand are preparing for the continental tournament Africa Cup of Nations set to take place in South Africa between January 19 and February 10, 2013.
