Egypt Squash: Ramy Ahsour is the World N°1

Ramy Ashour is again number one in the world of squash. With seven tournaments victories between February and December 2012, the Egyptian regained the lead of the PSA Ranking. Ashour had lost the title of number one in January 2010.
After suffering a few injuries that had spread short, Ashour had fallen to the fifth place in the heart of 2011.

The native of Cairo remains on five consecutive victories in prestigious tournaments in the image of the Hong Kong Open, the U.S. Open, the Australian Open and the World Championship.

Hard to beat, in the leader’s wake, his compatriots Mohamed El Shorbagy (5th), Karim Darwish (6th) and Amr Shabana (8th) each won a place. Omar Mosaad (9th) is also in the top 10.
