Niger have the least amount of European-based players in the squad of any nation in AFCON 2013. During half-time the score was,  Niger 0-0 DR Congo – It remains all square at the break after a rather tepid first half. Some erroneous passing was the source of the two best chances, in which Sidibe hit the post for the Mena before Mbokani was twice denied by Daouda.
