Africa South Africa : Witness heard “non-stop shouting” prior to Reeva Steenkamp’s death

Following the death of Miss Reeva Steenkamp, Oscar Pistorius the Olympic and Paralympics star was back in court for the second day and he had earlier on refused the accusation of murdering his girlfriend (Reeva Steenkamp).

Witnesses say they heard “non-stop shouting” coming from Oscar’s home the night Steenkamp died.

Pistorius who is been held in Police custody shot a woman who was unarmed and locked in a bathroom using an unlicensed 38mm pistol. Oscar claimed that he noticed his girlfriend was not in bed after the shooting but the state claims that the shooting was premeditated.

Gerrie Nel who is a prosecuter told the court that “she locked that door for a purpose. We’ll get to that purpose”. Oscar walks seven meters (20 feet) to the bathroom before shooting the model.

The court was also told that Pistorius family attempted to access offshore bank accounts following the murder of Miss Steenkamp.

Two blackberries were found in the bedroom and two iphones were found in the bathroom where Reeva Steenkamp died.

Police have also confirmed finding testosterone and needles in the athletes room which a suggested to be energy enhancement drugs.

He is however said to face another ammunition charge on the murder of Reeva Steenkamp.
