Since the popping – up of Pistoruis and Reeva’s murder issue many media houses and journalist have either taken to their studios, internet or radio stations to broadcast interesting stories. The American media has analyzed and compared the issue to that of O.J Simpson.

According to USATODAY, the Pistorius issue is a “global media attention”, but relating the case to that of O.J Simpson in Los Angeles. It continued to say that Pistorius wouldn’t be tried by a jury and that jury rails had been abolished during the apartheid era in South Africa.
USATODAY added that Pistorius is expected to be granted bail after final arguments are made. On Friday several experts in South Africa expresses themselves.
The Paralympics’ and Olympic star was charged with premeditated murder in the shooting of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
The MarketWatch of New York also said, Oscar Pistorius, the Olympic track star, was granted bail on Friday after four days of hearing at the Pretoria Magistrates Court in South Africa.
He has been charged with the premeditated murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who died on 14th February after Pistorius allegedly fired shots through a locked bathroom door. The judge said Pistorius doesn’t pose a flight risk, with no evidence demonstrating violent tendencies or intent to interfere with witnesses. The athlete, dubbed “Blade Runner” for his prosthetic legs, testified that he fired the shots because he mistook his girlfriend for an intruder and feared for his safety.
Attorney Robert Shapiro noted that Simpson didn’t testify in his murder case but Pistorius will. Comparing the Story of Pistorius to that of O.J. Simpson in the murder trial in the mid-1990’s and noted that Pistorius’ case in South Africa is was going to be very different.
Now the question left from Shapiro is since Pistorius has “admitted to doing the shooting so the question is going to be, “was it premeditated murder or was it justifiable hom
icide?”
