Basket-ball NBA : The Hornets bring the Blazers on earth

Portland leans over the line of New Orleans, 98-96. A defeat that repels Blazers from qualifications places for the play-offs of the Western Conference.

Two days after a victory against the San Antonio Spurs, Nicolas Batum 11pts and his teammates are bound by a shot with two seconds of buzzer Ryan Anderson.

The Blazers were led by JJ Hickson (14 points and rebounds), Wesley Matthews (24 points) and Damian Lillard (20 points, 8 assists). LaMarcus Aldridge (16 points on 6-14 shooting) struggled throughout the game. The Blazers were outhustled and outrebounded by New Orleans all night long.

On Greivis Vasquez offering (5 assists, 20 points), Anderson left the bench, plant the most valuable of its 20 units (which must be added 13 rebounds) to stop the series defeat Hornets to three.

The New Orleans ranks 14th in the Western Conference. The team of Oregon occupies the 11th rank.
