Cycling Cycling: Gerald Ciolek of Mtn-Khubica won Milan-San Remo

First successful challenge for the team MAN-Khubica. The first African team to align with a stroke of the World race is awarded a prestigious victory this Sunday.

Gerald Ciolek won the Milan-San Remo classic in front of the Slovak sprinter, Peter Sagan (Canondale) and Switzerland’s Fabian Cancellara. The French Sylvain Chavanel finished in 4th place.

From March 6 to 12, MTN-Khubica participated in Italy the Tirreno-Adriatico, an iconic race on the global agenda. The team worked alongside heavyweights like Alberto Contador, Christopher Froome or Cadel Evans. It hopes to take the Tour of Spain.
