The draw for the semi-finals of the South African Cup was made on Monday. The Kaizer Chiefs in the race for a double Championship Cup will face the second division club, FC United.

The task will be less difficult for the Amakhosi (Chiefs) Glamour Boys who have not been pitted to SuperSport United and Platinum Stars who dispute the second match of the semi-finals. Both meetings are scheduled on May 4.

After the quarterfinals, SuperSport United had dominated (2-1) Maritzburg United, Kaizer Chiefs beat Bloenfontein Celtic (1-0), United FC was right against the African Warriors (3-2), and finally Platinum had eliminated Mamelodi Sundowns (2-1)
