The Elephants U17 ended the ambitions of the Moroccan Cubs.

In the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations under-17, Ivory Coast dominated Morocco, 2-1 Tuesday in Casablanca.

Host of the 10th Afcon U17, Morocco will follow the final as a spectator. The Moroccan team saw its dream of winning the trophy go up in half an hour and within 8 minutes.

Bedia (30 ‘) and Niangbo (38′) made the break before the halftime for the Ivorians. Morocco will reduce the score at the 67 minute through a penalty scored by Sabbar, but not enough to change the course of the meeting.

In the final, the Elephants will face the winner of the second semifinal pitting Nigeria to Tunisia.
