Africa Cameroon: The League sanctions

The approval and discipline committee of the professional football league in Cameroon (LFPC) just hit the unscrupulous.

Clubs, coaches, Mtn elite stadiums one and two fall under the sanctions at the meeting of April 18 in Yaounde. Mtn elite one, the municipal stadium of Mankon Bamenda is suspended for two matches due to incidents caused during the fifth game of the day that pitted the local teams, Yong Sport Academy to Tonnerre Kalara club of Yaounde. Its resident club, Yong Sport Academy, will play its 10th and 12th meetings of the day “On a neutral ground.”

The ambassador of the North-West region in the first division will also pay a fine of 100,000 CFA francs “because the misconduct of spectators concerns him,” says one to the LFPC.

Same treatment for the club of Mtn elite two, royal eagle of Menoua accused and punished for “threats and assaults on supporters and officials of Feutcheu Fc of Djiko-Bandjoun.”

Unlike Yong sport, Aigle will pay 150,000 francs to the League and will be deprived of its stadium for three days of the championship.

The coaches were also hit. Gerard Mbimi, the coach of Tonnere pays 50,000 francs and will watch a match of his club as a spestator for displaying a behavior deemed rude towards the match officials of the meeting Yong sports-Tonnere.

The same penalties and fines are applied to coaches Scorpion of Be (Elite two) Jean Wadale and Philippe Ngwe for their attitudes during the match Tiko United-Scorpion. Nicolas Tonye Tonye is in the same situation, he who is accused of unsportsmanlike conduct during the meeting Loum- Botafogo of Douala.

The latest approvals of the League accounted for the 4th, 5th 6th and 7th days in Mtn elite one and for the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th days in Mtn elite two.
