The Dutch coach Pim Verbeek has pushed with the back of his hand the post of coach of the Atlas Lions of Morocco after the departure of Eric Gerets announced in Qatar. The current technical director and responsible of all youth teams, Verbeek is not at all interested in this position because of the criticism.

“Here, all the responsibility is rejected on the shoulders of the coach,” said Verbeek before adding “It’s the coach who takes all the blame in case of poor performance,” said the technician to Voetbal International, before continuing: “I am satisfied with my performance and my career here, but I’ll stop there and there will be no contract extension”
