Europe Manchester United : Who to remplace Sir Alex Ferguson?

The speculation has begun on who will replace Sir Alex Ferguson as the manager of Manchester United. David Moyes or Jose Mourinho?

David Moyes and Jose Mourinho are the front-runners to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as manager of Manchester United. Current Everton boss David Moyes, whose contract at Goodison Park runs out at the end of the season, is the favourite to take over at Old Trafford.

Former Chelsea coach and currently disgruntled Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, is next best. He is likely to leave Real Madrid this summer, which makes him also a strong candidate for the job, but he has been strongly linked with a return to Chelsea.

Jürgen Klopp, the current manager of Borussia Dortmund who will contest this year’s Champions League final.

Ferguson’s, 71, successor will be announced in the next 48 hours.

United, who clinched their 20th English Premiership title this season, have two matches remaining, against Swansea (at home on Sunday, May 12) and West Brom (away on Sunday, May 19).
