The French football honored its best players on Sunday during the bestowing of the UNFP Trophies (National Union of Professional Footballers).

Ligue 2 Guingamp, back in L1 after 9 years of absence, was the winner of the ceremony and leaves with the trophy for the “best player” and the “best coach”.

Gianelli Imbula, the young Franco-Congolese of 20 years old was the architect of the rise of the club and was awarded logically. With 33 games and 2 goals to his tally, Imbula already arouses desires.

His coach Jocelyn Gourvennec was voted “best coach of the season.”
