Africa Tunisia: A banana leads the football federation and a sponsor to justice!

This is a very trivial matter, but that should not been considered like that according to the Tunisian Association of Minorities. Moving the past weekend in Sierra Leone for a playoffs match of the 2014 World Cup, some players of the Tunisian team sympathized with children. But one of them committed the irreparable holding out a banana to one of the kids.

An image subsequently published on the Facebook page of the group ‘Carrefour’, sponsor of the FTF (Tunisian Football Federation) that created the outcry. It was considered “disrespectful towards specific international conventions to human rights.” Yesterday Monday, the Tunisian Association of Minorities decided to lodge a complaint against the firm ‘Carrefour’ for racism.
