Official for over a week, the transfer of Dove Wome to Mamelodi Sundowns is known to all. The Togolese has also joined last week his new teammates for the pre-season training in Polokwane. On the site of his new club, Wome is delighted to play for Brazilians, the team’s nickname.

“It is great to finally find myself with my new teammates, but it’s very special to meet once again with Edward (Manqele) because we had a very good cooperation in Free State. I always knew where to hand him over the ball and together we have undermined the defense of several teams”, he has entrusted recalling his relationship with a player he already rubbed shoulders with in his former club.

“Football has the same language and if you know the language, the integration into a club like Sundowns should be fairly easy. If you look at the immense talent here in Chloorkop, then you know that football is the main language”, added the midfielder.
