Tottenham announced on Monday that the effective will fly this weekend in Asia for a pre-season tour punctuated by a tournament called Barclays Asia Tour. This competition will also gather apart from the London club, Manchester City, Sunderland and a selection of Hong Kong. In the group called to take part in this tournament is included the Togolese Emmanuel Adebayor and the Cameroonian Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Both players are yet announced on departure. Adebayor to Besisktas side, even if the player has already said not to be interested. He will start the training with Tottenham only this Monday after his vacation. Assou-Ekotto has also been the subject of rumors sending him to Turkey, especially to Fenerbahce.

Only the new recruit of the Spurs, the Brazilian Paulinho is not included in the list. He got a few more days of vacation after winning the Confederations Cup with the Selecao end of June.
