Andrea Antonelli died Sunday at the eighth round of the World Superbike Championship rider in Moscow. The Italian rider was crushed after hitting another driver. “The Italian (Andrea Antonelli) died of his injuries”, said an official of the local police in the Russian agency RIA Novosti.

Antonelli was 25 years old. On the images, you can notice that the very wet track conditions could cause falls. This was the case of the Italian who unfortunately passed away. He evolved in the Supersport championship since 2012.

After the accident, the event was canceled.
