Africa Kevin Boateng and the Ayew brothers must write us or else……., said Ghana FA

The Ghana Football Association has finally come out to defend why they are demanding an official notice from Kevin Prince Boateng and the Ayew brothers who have verbally agreed to return to the Black Stars. The  three players were advised to write to the GFA to officially rescind their retirement after making a verbal statement that they  are ready to play the black Stars.
The FA said emphatically that unless Kevin and the Ayew brothers make official statement, they will not earn a call-up to serve their nation. Up to date no official statement has been sent to the Ghana Football Association by any of these three players. When asked whether the Ghana FA was not stretching the matter, the President of Ghana FA,Akwasi Nyantakyi responded: “We are not”.I think we must be fair to both sides because when the players decided to communicate their decisions in writing was there any over stretching there?, he added in an interview with Joy FM.
The trio are facing a Thursday deadline to submit their letters or risk being left out the squad for next month’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia at home.
