Ghana Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has joined his Al Ain team mates for their pre-season camp. After a short summer break, the 27-year-old forward joined the Black Stars in their recent International friendly against Turkey.He helped the team fight back from two goals down to earn a draw in Instabul.
Gyan enjoyed a stunning 2012/13 campaign when he scored a record-breaking 31 goals to fire Al Ain to a second successive Pro League title. “I know all the teams are preparing both technically and physically for this season’s kick off I’m happy to be here at the camp; we are all motivated and ready for the battle ahead of us“, said Gyan.
Al Ain will have their first test against Al Ahli in the Super Cup on August 30.
