macmannWigan chairman Dave Whelan reveals that he turned down an offer for 22-year-old striker Callum McManaman ahead of the transfer deadline.
We had an offer for Callum McManaman, but there’s too much potential in that boy for us to even think about selling,” he tells the Wigan Evening Post.
McManaman began his youth career at Everton  before being released in 2007 and joining Wigan Athletic.
He made his first team debut in 2009, and won the FA Cup with the club in 2013.

McManaman has scored eight times in 45 appearances for the Latics.
