From August 26 to September 1, was held in Rio in Brazil, the World Judo Championships. The best judokas in the world were given an appointment for a fight. This World is a sort of dress rehearsal three years from the Olympic Games in Rio.
The French delegation at Rio came back with eight medals including two gold, two silver and four bronze.
With these medals, France has risen to second place in the medals table behind Japan, which has a medal less but one more gold.
