Africa Senegal: The defender Kouyaté uncertain against Uganda

Cheikhou-Kouyaté-615x326Following a contact he had with another player during the third training session of the Lions in Marrakech on Wednesday, the Senegalese defender shareholder of Anderlecht in Belgium, Cheikhou Kouyaté has got injured in his right thigh.
In fact, he was released and could not continue the rest of the session led by Alain Giresse.

In charge of the Senegalese medical staff, Dr. Fallou Cisse after some first aid on Thursday decided to send him to the hospital for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in order to get an idea of the injury.

Meanwhile, the participation of the player who in recent meetings became a spearhead of the Senegalese defense is not certain in Saturday’s game against the Cranes.

Senegal and Uganda are clashing on September 7, 2013 in the Marrakech stadium for a match counting for the sixth and final day of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
