Both sides are energized especially since Wednesday when the plane carrying the Chipolopolo from South Africa has been denied access to the airport tarmac in Kumasi.

Hervé Renard, whose future is uncertain, and his foals had to turn back and spend the night in Lusaka (Zambian capital). It’s finally this Thursday that the men of the President Kalusha Bwalya finally joined Kumasi via Accra. They landed in the Garden City in the afternoon (as can be seen in this photo released by the federation). The Ghanaian Federation today issued a statement as to prove his good faith and denounced the maneuvers of the Zambian media.

Chipolopolo and Balck Stars compete for the single qualifying ticket in Group D of these qualifiers.
