Africa Moses: ‘I Look Forward to my Liverpool Debut’

victorAfter helping the Super Eagles to progress into the final round qualifiers for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, AFCON and UEFA Europa Cup winner Victor Moses is now focused on his first game for Liverpool, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Moses, who was loaned to the Merseyside team from Chelsea before the close of the transfer market, scored the Eagles second goal against the Flames of Malawi on Saturday in Calabar after Nnamdi Oduamadi was brought down in the penalty box.

Tweeting on his twitter handle, the former Crystal Palace, and Wigan Athletic player said: “Back in Liverpool after great time with Nigeria. Looking forward to making my LFC debut now.”

Moses joined Liverpool alongside Tiago Ilori (Sporting Lisbon) and Mamadou Sakho (Paris Saint Germain), and could make his debut against Swansea away at the Liberty Stadium on Monday, September 16.

The 18-time English champions currently top the table with nine points from three matches.
