Africa Arsene Wenger targets Jordan Ayew

JoayewwArsenal manager Arsene Wenger has kindled talks of a move for Olympique Marseille youngster Jordan Ayew after praising the immense talent of the Ghana striker. The French trainer was speaking on the eve of Arsenals tough Champions League opener against Marseille at the Stade Velodrome.
Jordan has struggled for regular first team action this term under manager Elie Baup – instigating talks of a possible move to the English Premier League where he was strongly linked to a move to West Brom. But Wenger might have redirected talks of Jordan’s likely destination in a forseeable move in January after heaping praise on the potential of the Ghana striker of which he says is being tracked by Arsenals wide range of scouts.
I know Jordan, he is a very good player and he has the potential of being a great player,” he said. We have scouts who look around for such talents and I believe they would have spotted him. Wenger’s comments has already had people especially in the French media speculate over a possible move for the 21-year-old to the Emirates this winter.

Marseille have however remained coy on the future of the Ghana striker who has now only started getting more minutes in games under Elie Baup.
