Africa Nigeria to play Ethiopia in the 2014 World cup qualifiers- Vidéo

Nigeria-v-Ethiopia-504x279The play-off draw of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers has paired the Super Eagles of Nigeria with Ethiopia.

The Super Eagles have won seven of the previous nine meetings between the two with their last encounter being at the 2013 AFCON quarter final which Nigeria won 2:0

Football Fans around the country gave their verdicts that Nigeria will win both the Away and Home matches due to the past records they have with them and the current form the of Super Eagles players .

CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa also boasts that Eagles will give their best as usual to beat Ethiopia and get the 2014 World Cup ticket.

We couldn’t have asked for better opponents. With all due respect to them, they will be beaten well in both legs. We know what Nigerians expect and that is outright victory. We won’t look down on them but we will prepare hard for them,” Musa assured the country’s ball fans. Also speaking on the draw, Celtic defender, Efe Ambrose said that Nigerians should not lose sleep over the opposition as Eagles are ready to crush any team on their way to 2014 World Cup.
