appiahFormer black Stars captain Stephen Appiah believes the Black Stars of Ghana stands a chance of qualifying to the World cup but we need to work extra hard to make that dream come true. According to him, Egypt is  strong side but Ghana is a stronger side.Appiah advised the Black Stars players to only work extra hard for the Egyptians.
He said, the Egyptians are very tricky but was quick to add that the Black Stars love challenges like this because it put them on their toes. “If we get all our experience players together, we will surely beat the Egyptians, I think Kevin,Dede, and Essien are back now and i believe Sulley Muntari too will return to the team so we only need to work extra hard and i believe victory will be ours“, Appiah said.
When asked wether he is ready to return to the Black Stars, Appiah laughed and said, “No i have no plans to return to Black stars but i pray the likes of John Mensah, Richard Kingston and other  experience players who are still in active football will find their boot and return to the Stars because the country need them in times like this
Appiah congratulated the returnees, Michael Essien, Dede Ayew and Kevin Boateng for coming back to the Black Stars. Stephen Appiah was the first Black Stars captain to lead the team to World cup.
