The  Ghana Football Association has changed the date for the first leg of the World cup play-off against Egypt. The football governing body initially chose sunday 13th October as the date for the crucial game but the Ghana FA has pushed the date to Tuesday 15th October to give the coach time to fully prepare for the game.

The Ghana FA added that it will have no effect on them because it falls within the the FIFA rule which says first Leg games must fall within 11th-15th October 2013. Even though the date has changed, the venue still remain the same, meaning the game will still be played in the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on tuesday 15th October 2013.

The second leg is planned for between 15 and 19 November 2013.
