Africa We were not lucky in our game against Kotoko, Gilbert Fiamenyo

FiamenyoHearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has stated that his side didnt deserve to loose against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on their home ground Accra sports stadium. Fiamenyo made his first league appearance for the phobians in the game against Kotoko starting from the bench where he caused a number of threats to the kotoko defends. Speaking after the their 0-1 defeat, the player said Hearts were unlucky in the game because they created and missed a lot of chances in the game.
We did not deserve to lose the game.  You can see it was hard luck, and we did not take our chances,”Fiamenyo said.” They got the opportunity and they punished us for it but we will have to put it aside and focus for the next game.”We played well. We dominated the second half and pressured them a lot in search of an equalizer but it did not happen. We have to put the defeat behind us and we will have to focus for the game ahead of us.”

Gilbert Fiamenyo also had a message for the fans of the team who came in their numbers on Sunday but left unhappy with the outcome of the game.

The fans should not lose hope; we have more matches ahead of us,” Fiamenyo added. “It was a painful defeat but it is not the end of the season. The focus should turn to the coming games and with their support we will bring them victories. We have the quality to make it this year, and so they should stick with us.”
