Basket-ball NBA: Juwan Howard, assistant coach of the Heat

Howard-partyAfter twenty years of traveling for miles on the floors of the NBA, Juwan Howard has decided to end his career. After Grant Hill and the new coach of the Nets Jason Kidd, it is the forty years man that hangs up pumps.

But Juwan Howard (40) will not leave the scene since the Miami Heat has asked him to join their coaching staff. So he will continue to influence the locker room at the side of the two times NBA champions as assistant coach. A position he assumed informally during the playoffs.

5th pick in the draft 1994 (Washington Wizards), the powerful forward is the first NBA player to sign a contract to $ 100 million (editor’s note, 105 million with the Wizards for seven seasons, August 5, 1996).
