Africa Nff target semi final stage

31697NFFThe General Secretary of the Nigerian Football Federation , NFF, Musa Amadu, has disclosed that surpassing the record previously set by African representatives at the FIFA World Cup is the target the FA has set for the Super Eagles ahead of their participation at the 2014 edition in Brazil.
Barrister Musa Amadu dropped this hint when members of the House of Representative Committee on Sports visited the Glass House part of their oversight functions.
But according to Amadu, a good and timely package from the government will enhance the team’s preparation to meet the set targets, while that most countries that post good results in top competitions like the World Cup achieve it with everything in place to prepare and motivate the players.
“Honestly, if we get the right funding, Nigeria will surprise the world in Brazil next year. Right Now, coach Stephen Keshi and his boys have hit the right cord, all they need now is just for the federation to complement this with adequate funding; you can then watch the Super Eagles to do wonder next year,” he stressed.
