Africa Black Stars to seek blessings to from Ashanti King Otumfour Osei Tutu II on friday

oseitutuGhana Black Stars players and officials will visit the Ghana’s most powerful Ashanti King Otumfour Osei Tutu II on friday to announce their presence and readiness to beat the Egyptians in Kumasi come 15th of October.The owner of Ghana League champions Asante Kotoko and the Ashanti Kingdom always inspire the Black Stars whenever the team plays in Kumasi and this has contributed to the Black Stars Undefeated record in Kumasi in the 2014 World cup qualifier.
The Stars landed in Kumasi on Wednesday evening to start their preparation ahead of tuesday’s clash.
The visit to the Asantehene is to seek his blessing for the match which is seen by many Black Stars supporters as good omen for the game. The Black Stars will visit the Manhyia Palace at 2pm on Friday before they take on lower division side Deportivo at the Baba Yara Stadium at 1600.
All the Black Stars players have arived in Kumasi with the exception of Schalke 04 midfielder Kevin Boateng who cannot come due to injury.
