Africa Ivorian Doué Noumandiez to Officiate Ghana vs Egypt

Doué-Noumandiez-Desire-to-officiate-Ghana-vrs-Mali-gameIvorian Doué Noumandiez Desiré is the referee designated by FIFA to take charge of Ghana’s World Cup playoff secong leg tie against Egypt on November 19.

According to Ghanasoccernet.com, the 43-year-old pharmacist will be assisted on the lines by compatriot Songuifolo Yeo and Burundian Jean-Claude Birumushahu.

The trio took charge of the Black Stars 2014 Africa Cup of Nations group game against Mali in South Africa in January this year.

The experienced Ivorian man was voted CAF Referee of the Year in 2011 and one of just a few of Africans on FIFA’s list of referees for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Morocco’s top referee El Ahrach was in charge when the Ghanaians walloped their opponent 6-1 in the first leg in Kumasi last month.
