After being defeated by the No 1-ranked Serb Novak Djokovic in his opening match at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London, Swiss Roger Federer could not help lauding the defensive prowess of his opponent comparing him with Rafael and Murray and called him one of the best defenders in tennis.

 “It’s a different type of defence than we know from Rafa or Andy Murray. He does it really well,” Federer said.

“Clearly he’s known [for it] and proves it time and time again that he’s one of the best defenders in the game we’ve ever had.”
