Brazil 2014 Egypt’s striker Amr Zaki to breakthrough Ghana’s defense on Tuesday

amr-zakiEvery Egyptian wants to avenge the humiliation Ghana Black Stars inflicted to his nation.

This is just the case of Amr Zaki, the ex-Hull City and Zamalek striker, who currently plays for Al Salmiya.

The player who just stayed on the bench and watched his teammates being hammered 6-1 by Black Stars in Kumasi last month is likely to lead Egypt’s attack in the return leg to be held at the highly secured Air Defense Stadium in Cairo on Tuesday.

Having proved good in Egypt’s 2-0 win over Zambia in a friendly in midweek, coach Bradley is impressed over his improvement on the pitch.

“Each time he comes to the camp he shows signs of progress. He has made a lot of improvement lately and he will be leading our frontline against Ghana,” Egypt coach Bob Bradley said in a press conference Sunday.

“I thought we could have introduced him at later stages of the game but things didn’t turn out as expected and we had to make different substitutions,” Bradley added.
