Brazil 2014 Ghana: Agyemang-Badu’s recovery message to Andre Ayew

ayew-baduAfrica Top Sports reported a few hours ago on Andre Ayew’s successful surgery in Marseille after having picked a left knee injury as Ghana lost 2-1 to win an aggregate 7-3 win over the Pharaohs of Egypt to seal a place in next summer’s Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
Andre’s mother Maha Ayew was beside him to help him heal the injury that will cost him eight off-weeks.
As we commonly acknowledge that solidarity is African, Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu deemed it quite human to send a get well message to injured teammate Andre Ayew to just wish him a quick recovery.
“Get well soon my brother Andre Ayew,” the Udinese star tweeted.
“I suffered the same kind of injury last season and I know how it feels like. I wish Andre well and hope he gets back soonest,” he added.
Badu and Andre, both members of the victorious 2009 Ghana U20 side, played influential roles in Ghana’s qualification to the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
