November 19 was the day Ghana Black Stars hooked their third consecutive World Cup qualification as they lost 2-1 to win an aggregate 7-3 over Egypt in Cairo.
Ghana which was the only African side to have reached the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa is now urged by former President John Kufuor to try hard and exceed previously attained height in the upcoming World Cup to be held next summer in Brazil.
“After the World Cup, Ghana became the center stage on the continent. And in terms of global football, Ghana was up there.
“In fact, we went on to do it in South Africa and we are going to do it again in Brazil.”
Ghana will find out its preliminary group opponents after the draw is held on December 6.
