Nigeria’s former Green Eagles and Shooting Stars winger Segun Odegbami believes the Super Eagles are not properly blended and calls them for cohesion ahead World Cup Brazil 2014.

The man nicknamed “Mathematical” during his playing time just confided his worries to Radio Nigeria.

“The present Super Eagles lack cohesion, they are a bunch of individual talents and skilful players and they can only make a good team in a tournament like the World Cup if they are properly blended,” Odegbami told Radio Nigeria.

“If you study the 1980 and 1994 Africa Nations Cup winning Eagles, there was strong understanding among the players, every player knew the position to be and get the ball at a particular time even if you close your eyes.”
