Europe Djokovic: I can challenge Nadal at Roland Garros

b_28-05-Djokovic-Novak-03World No. 2-ranked Novak Djokovic feels ready to challenge Spain’s No. 1-ranked Rafael Nadal for the 2014 French Open title.
After having lost the 2013 edition of the French capital tourney to Nadal, the Serbinator who flourished as he wrapped a 24 match winning streak says his loss against the Spaniard served him as an eye-opener.

So he believes in toppling Nadal without rehearsing mistakes during the upcoming edition and become a better and stronger player.
“What happened happened, and everything happens for a reason. Those losses that I had against Nadal in the big matches made me understand what I need to do to become a better and stronger player. That’s all that matters now,” Novak said before continuing.

“I won over 20 matches in a row so with all the confidence that’s given me, I’m heading into the new season feeling great and hopefully this can be the year for me where I can challenge Rafa at Roland Garros.”
