Zambian football is in mourning! The former Chipolopolo striker Denis Lota, is no more. He died at the age of 40 after a short illness at the hospital of Johannesburg.

Lota had played 4 final phases of the African Cup of Nations with the selection before embarking on a coaching career in South Africa.

He played a hundred games in the colors of Orlando Pirates from 1998 to 2002.

He served as assistant coach of Moroka Swallows, South Africa.
