16 teams qualified for the third world Cup basketball since Wednesday know their opponents in the group stage. FIBA and the organizing committee for the Slovak World Cup proceeded to draw in mid-day in Bratislava.

Mali, triple African reigning champions are found in the same group as the USA, double world reigning champions. France and China are also in this group D.

Egypt, second African representative in the competition, try to position themselves in Pool A alongside Spain, Brazil and Italy. Slovakia, host of the event, is housed in group A.

The 3rd edition of World Cup women basketball U17 FIBA will take place this summer between June 28 and July 6.
