Cameroun Mourinho:If I did not like him, I would not take him at Chelsea

mou-et-eto-art-300x199After his joke about the age of Samuel Eto’o, joke that made the buzz these days on the net, José Mourinho returned to the subject at a press conference Saturday.

Furious against the lack of ethics of Canal +, which he accused of filming his comments without warning, the Chelsea manager intends to calm the game. Far from the intention of hurting the Cameroonian striker, the Portuguese coach said he has no reason to feel bad.

“He (Eto’o Editor’s note) has no reason to be offended. We are talking about a player who has won four times the C1, and with whom I had my best year when I was at Inter. In addition, in the past, he said he would never play with me and the next season , I recruited him. If I didn’t like him, I would not have enrolled him at Inter and later at Chelsea!” he hinted.

Chelsea moves to Fulham this afternoon with the objective of maintaining their leading position at the end of the 28th day of the Premier League. With perhaps in the attack Samuel Eto’o, whose relationship with José Mourinho is far from being altered. Having repeatedly demonstrated that it is never as good as when he is challenged, the Indomitable Lion may net his seventh league goal for the Blues.
