The curtains fell on Saturday in Nairobi (Kenya) on the African Youth Handball Cup of Nations of the African Handball Confederation (CAHB) with the final of Juniors’ tournament. The final of the 20th edition of the Junior Afcon played on March 29 opposed Egypt to Tunisia.
The Maghreb derby for supremacy in the African Handball Junior turned to the advantage of Egypt, after a tight match 25-23 (12-11 score at the break). Third in 2012, Egypt succeeds winners Tunisia who won the previous edition on the banks of the Ebrié lagoon (Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire).
Egypt leaves the Kenyan Campaign of Afcon Youth Handball with a double since the Cadets before their elders, had won their tournament at the expense of Algeria.
