Emmanuel Adebayor‘s ambitions for the upcoming season. The Togolese striker has told the Daily Express when he took over training sessions with Tottenham last Friday. And to hear him speaking, no desire of departure, but rather another collective performance with the Spurs seems to be his prime concern.
“The most important thing is to work hard and get back in shape. I play for Tottenham, we are a team. I do not think about my situation. For me, the goal is to finish the season in the top four places”, said Adebayor who scored 11 goals in 21 Premier League matches last season.
Announced on departure, the former Gunner should stay. Especially since he confided being consistent with the new coach of Tottenham, Mauricio Pochettino.
Adebayor: “Its nothing about personal, its all about the team. I play for Tottenham. Our objective is to finish in the top four.” #THFC
