Christian Gourcuff is the new selector of Algeria Fennecs since Vahid Halilhodzic departure. Called to express his opinion about his new coach, Sofiane Feghouli showed that he is rather positive and optimistic.

Christian Gourcuff can count on the support of a single player in the new selection tenors which he is going to coach. Even if he did not yet meet him, the craftsman of the beautiful Algerian World Cup sees in Gourcuff a coach who has some experience to transmit: “I do not have yet the opportunity to meet him but I heard good news about him. If our leaders recruited him, it is because he is good at coaching. We have to take advantage of his experience in order to progress”.

Christian Gourcuff’s experience and his expertise could determine the future of the young Algerian team, as Feghouli said it: “our generation is young, with many inexperienced players. It bears within itself many promises. These promises can be fulfilled in case you remain welded and continue wetting jerseys for the country.
