Africa Premier League : Ben Arfa out up to mid-January

Bad news for Newcastle! Hatem Ben Arfa is going to be deprived of the competition for three or four weeks due to an injury at his hamstrings that bother him since about a month: “he risks having a tear if we make him play. He then will lose three or four weeks to make sure that everything is alright”, said his coach, Alan Pardew.
The French international got injured firstly on November 22 during a Ligue Europa match against Maritimo Funchal.

The Franco-Algerian  was back to the competition on December 10 during an encounter in Premier League against Fulham whereby he scored a goal. After this encounter, he collapsed.
Apart from Ben Arfa, the Magpies will also be deprived of Yohan Cabaye who is to get back only in February.
